Privacy

Your choices stay in your hands.

PLINIC uses essential technology to run the store. Optional analytics and third-party advertising follow your saved preferences and regional requirements. When advertising is permitted, we may share limited website and purchase-event data with Meta to measure campaign performance. This may include browser identifiers, IP address, browser details, purchase value and a hashed email from a paid order. We do not send product preferences to Meta.

In the US, tracking runs automatically unless you opt out or your browser privacy signal blocks it. In other or unknown locations, it stays off until you give permission in Privacy settings. Dismissing the cookie notice does not change your choices.

When analytics is permitted by your saved preferences and regional requirements, BARO, our store operator, records visits to public store pages to measure traffic and campaign performance. We use a random store session identifier and first-visit campaign cookies that last up to 30 days. Visit records include page paths, campaign labels, the referring site's origin, device type and approximate location. Where configured, the IP address is stored only as a keyed hash. The same session identifier can connect visits to a later order. Cart, checkout and account pages, page query strings, names and email addresses are excluded from these visit records.

Email list

If you join the PLINIC email list, from the popup or the box at the foot of each page, we keep your email with when you signed up, the page you signed up on and the exact wording of the email line you saw. A one-way scrambled form of your network address is used only to stop automated sign-ups. Every PLINIC email lets you unsubscribe.

Welcome offer

If you give us your email for the welcome offer, we keep it with when you signed up, the page you signed up on and the exact wording of the email line you saw. We also keep a one-way scrambled form of your network address, used only to stop automated sign-ups. A signed cookie on this device links your bag to your code until it ends, and checkout uses that email so the discount goes to the person who signed up.

Signing up means you'll get PLINIC emails, and each one lets you unsubscribe. To learn whether the offer helps, about one visitor in ten is placed in a group that doesn't see it; a cookie keeps your group the same for 90 days.

Cookie preferences

When analytics is permitted by your saved preferences and regional requirements, Microsoft Clarity records masked interactions on our homepage and product pages so we can improve the store. This includes clicks, scrolling, browser and device information. Cart, checkout and account pages are excluded. You can withdraw analytics consent below.

When analytics is permitted by your saved preferences and regional requirements, Google Analytics measures public page visits, bag changes, checkout starts and completed purchases. Purchase reports contain public product information, amounts and a pseudonymous transaction identifier, not your name or email. Google receives browser and device details, your IP address and a browser cookie identifier. We do not send personal details in page URLs. Google advertising features remain off. Withdrawing consent stops new collection and suppresses pending purchase reports once received by our server. If you opt back in, reload a public store page to resume analytics.

You can change this choice at any time. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising off.
